FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
Answers to the questions we hear most often. Don't see yours? Ask us directly.
What kinds of projects do you take on?
Everything from custom residential foundations and additions to multi-story commercial buildings, bridge and highway infrastructure, and landscape-scale outdoor structures. If it’s structural and it’s in Texas, we can help.
How fast do you respond to new project inquiries?
We reply to every new-project inquiry within one business day. Most initial scoping calls happen within two business days of the first contact.
What areas of Texas do you serve?
Our office is in Leander (north of Austin), and we serve clients throughout Central Texas — including Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, and Pflugerville — and statewide for larger commercial and infrastructure projects.
Do you stamp drawings for permit submittals?
Yes. We provide stamped, code-compliant drawings ready for municipal permitting, lender review, or insurance documentation. Every deliverable is signed by a licensed Texas engineer.
How do you price projects?
Most residential work is priced as a fixed fee based on scope. Commercial and infrastructure projects are priced by hourly rate or phase milestone. You’ll receive a written quote before any work begins.
Can you help with pre-construction planning?
Yes — our pre-construction consultation service identifies potential structural issues before you break ground. Catching problems at the analysis stage saves real money and schedule slippage.
Do you perform site inspections?
Yes. Our site inspection and analysis services cover new construction, additions, existing structures, and foundation evaluations. You receive a detailed written report with photos and recommendations.
Can you work with my architect or contractor?
Absolutely. We regularly coordinate with architects, general contractors, and sub-trades to keep projects on schedule. Clear communication is how we work.
Do you handle specialty structures like historic renovations?
Yes. Our specialized structural projects service covers unique structures, historic renovations, and complex cutting-edge designs. Complex scopes are where our team does its best work.
What information do you need to provide a quote?
A short description of the project (scope, location, approximate size), any existing plans or sketches, and your target timeline. You can share everything through our contact form or by email at info@arkengco.com.
Still have a question?
We'll answer personally — not from a chatbot. One business day, promise.
